Bootcamp or self-taught — which path wins in UX?

Honestly, neither.

A bootcamp can give you structure, mentorship, and accountability. Self-learning gives you flexibility and control. But companies care less about where you learned and more about what you can actually do. 

Can you solve real problems? Explain your decisions? Think about products? Create user-centered experiences?

In 2026, designers are also expected to keep learning, adapt quickly, use AI effectively, understand products, and solve business problems. 

The real advantage? Being the designer who never stops learning.
