Mobile UX isn’t desktop UX squeezed into a smaller screen.

It’s designing for thumbs, limited attention, real-world context, and real-world constraints.

Before you ship a mobile experience, check the basics:

→ Are touch targets easy to use?
→ Is navigation predictable?
→ Are forms simple?
→ Does the experience communicate feedback?
→ Is it accessible?
→ Does it work in real-world contexts?
→ Can users recover from mistakes?

And here’s the simplest test:

Put your phone down. Pick it up naturally. Then ask: What do I notice? What can I tap? What happens next?

If you can’t answer quickly, your user probably can’t either.

The full checklist includes 30+ checks, a 10-second mobile UX test, 5 UX laws, and a red-flag checklist.

Design for the person. Not the device.

Save this for your next mobile project and share it with a designer who needs it.
