Emotional design is more than making a product look beautiful.

It’s about creating experiences that people can use, enjoy, and connect with.

The three levels of emotional design:

Behavioral — Does it work well? Is it intuitive and easy to use?
Visceral — Does it look and feel appealing? What is the user’s first impression?
Reflective — Does it create a deeper emotional connection or meaningful experience?

The foundation is functionality and usability. But when reliability and usability are combined with emotional resonance, products can become more memorable and engaging.

Good UX works. Great UX makes people feel something.
