We often associate good UX with adding something:
A new feature.
A new interaction.
A new capability.
But sometimes, good UX is simply making an existing interaction easier.
A difficult-to-turn tap with poor grip and unclear controls creates unnecessary effort. A lever tap makes the same task easier through clear affordance, comfortable grip, one-handed operation, and precise control.
That’s the difference between making something possible and making something effortless.
The best experiences often don’t demand attention.
They simply work.

If users have to think too hard about how something works, there’s probably an opportunity to improve the experience.
